LaterPing

1. What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and timezone. When you create a ping, we store the follow-up details, recipient email addresses, and scheduling preferences you provide. We also collect usage events to improve the product (e.g. pings created, emails sent).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to operate LaterPing — scheduling and delivering follow-up emails on your behalf, sending you push notifications about your pings, and processing payments. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Recipient Data

When you add a recipient email address to a ping, that address is stored and used only to deliver the follow-up you configured. Recipients can opt out of future emails from LaterPing at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email we send. We honour all unsubscribe requests immediately.

4. Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. On deletion, all your pings, recipients, and personal data are permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymised usage statistics may be retained.

5. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Analytics, if any, are privacy-preserving and do not track individuals across websites.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel only.
